Hello from 2G - Week 3

Literacy:

• Our comprehension strategy is Visualizing. Children could practise this strategy at home while they are reading their home readers!
• We continue working hard on our handwriting and pencil grips.
• Home Readers have started being sent home. Please encourage your children to read each night and strengthen their comprehension of the text by asking them some of the questions in their reading folder.

Numeracy:

• Number patterns…counting forwards and backwards in 1's, 2’s, 5’s and 10’s beginning at any number up to 200.
• Rainbow facts and doubles
• Simple Addition and Subtraction

Religion

• Vision Statements - 'The Franciscan Way'
• Who is God for me?

Homework:  

• Please note homework begins this week. It is given out on Monday and is due back the following Monday.
• Please encourage students to take pride in the presentation of their homework
